Overview
Advanced Routing and Switching for the Field Engineer will prepare the learner for the implementation of the design solution as part of a System Engineer and Field Engineer effort, to install and configure the solution in the customer's network so that the customer accepts the solution, and to enable the customer's network operation and the administration of the integrated solution in monitoring baseline performance and managing abnormal incidents or problems.
Prerequisites
CCNP certification is required to attend this course and a level of knowledge equivalent to:
- Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QOS)
Delegates will learn how to
- Configure routers and multi-layer switches to enable BGP, given an implementation plan
- Configure routers for MPLS, given an implementation plan
- Configure routers and switches to enable QOS, given an implementation plan
- Implement high availability in the network at Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3, given an implementation plan
- Configure and troubleshoot routers and level 3 switches for IPV6, given an implementation plan
- Use the appropriate show and debug commands to monitor and troubleshoot a Cisco network
